Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A CDL Operator to join its safety-conscious team. The role involves safe execution of jobs across services lines, operating vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, and supervising a small crew when needed.

Transitioning military personnel are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include safety leadership on site, equipment operation, routine maintenance, and ensuring DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL Class A or B license is required for operation of company vehicles.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are preferred.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative tasks.
• Hands-on operation of vacuum equipment and hydroblasting equipment.
• Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• Operate pumping equipment and specialized hydroblasting and cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment.
• Inspect surfaces for conformance to specifications and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Perform duties with liquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders; may direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
• Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections and driver records; comply with DOT policies.
• Load and unload hoses and unload vacuum truck at dump site.
• Provide general maintenance in the field and perform related duties.
