Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Class A or B CDL Operator to safely execute on-site duties across services lines. You will operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, supervise a small crew, and ensure compliance with safety policies and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training.
• Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license required when driving company vehicle.
• Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
• TWIC may be required.
• Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck.
• Working knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Roll-off and vacuum truck experience.
• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer.
• Hands-on operation vacuum equipment and hydroblasting equipment.
• Operate equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• May inspect surfaces for conformance to specs.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Load/unload hoses and unload vacuum truck at dump site.
• Complete pre/post trip inspections and DOT compliance.
• May direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
