SRM Concrete is hiring a Class A CDL Block Operator to safely transport concrete blocks from the plant to customers and SRM locations. You will also support yard operations when not delivering, ensuring logs and paperwork are accurate and compliant with DOT rules.

• Maintain clear communication with dispatch for routes and updates.
• Load and unload blocks safely; assist with yard operations as needed.

Are you a skilled and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver looking for a dynamic role in the block industry? SRM Concrete is seeking a reliable and motivated Class A CDL Block Operator to join our Block team. In this pivotal position, you’ll ensure the safe and efficient transportation of concrete blocks to customers and plant locations, while also supporting operations in the yard when not making deliveries. Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A truck, transporting blocks from the plant to customers and various SRM locations.


• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with all DOT regulations.


• Accurately complete and maintain logbooks, delivery documentation, and other required paperwork in line with company policies.


• Maintain clear communication with dispatch to receive delivery instructions and provide timely updates on route progress.


• Securely load and unload blocks, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently to prevent spillage or damage.


• Adhere to established routes, schedules, and safety procedures for transporting materials.


• Provide exceptional customer service at delivery sites, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and respect.


• Operate a loader to load blocks onto trucks and assist with yard operations as needed.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and current DOT Medical Card.

• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for material transportation.
