• 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience or 6 months with CDL school certificate.

Job description

Weekly Earnings: $0.59 per mile (approximate miles each night) plus a weekly minimum guarantee of 40 hours at the hourly rate. Pay rate and weekly guarantee increase at 6, 12, and 18 months.

1. Duties: Able to perform both routes as needed, including store deliveries and peddle routes (hourly rate, OT after 8 hours), relay/drop & hook (mile rate).
2. Schedule: Driver will work 5 days a week, with a Sunday through Thursday schedule, starting between 4 p.m., home every day.

Requirements:

• Valid and current Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience or 6 months of experience plus a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
• Ability to tailgate retail freight using roll-off conveyors.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
• CDL endorsements for Doubles (willing to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Additional Incentives: For a limited time, a $5 sign-on bonus and a $5 referral bonus are available.

This position is with our Private Fleet Operations group, based in Syracuse, NY, traveling to Windsor, CT, and back. The driver will work full-time immediately.
