Job description

Great American Transport is hiring Class A CDL drivers, both experienced and recent graduates for a local driving opportunity based near Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position offers hourly pay, guaranteed daily hours, and the opportunity to earn overtime. Drivers will operate locally and return home daily.

Candidates must live within 50 miles of Fort Wayne, IN, and be flexible with their work schedules. Available shifts currently start at 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Drivers must be willing to work assigned shifts, including required Saturday shifts.

Pay and Schedule

• Starting pay: $27.50 per hour

• Guaranteed 8 hours of pay per day

• Overtime pay after 50 hours per week

• Typical workdays range from 8 to 14 hours

• Local routes with home-daily opportunity

• Saturday work required 3 times per month

• Current available start times: 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM

• No first-shift openings currently available

Annual Pay Increases

• After 1 year: $28.18 per hour

• After 2 years: $29.05 per hour

• After 3 years: $30.50 per hour
