Job summary

Watkins Distributing, LLC is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver for local Idaho routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, deliver to stores, unload with pallet jack or hand truck, verify invoices, and maintain displays while ensuring accurate orders and signatures.

Must hold a Class-A CDL with a medical card and have a clean driving record. Strong communication with sales and store personnel is essential and you will navigate multiple retail locations daily.

Qualifications

• Delivery driver experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class-A CDL license, and medical card.
• Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
• Ability to utilize standard handheld input/output devices.

Responsibilities

• Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection.
• Drive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all DOT and traffic regulations.
• Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
• Check product in with store personnel.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate by verifying orders and obtaining signatures.
• Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
• Rotate all product according to company standards.
• Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit.
• Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily.
• Communicate effectively with sales representatives and store personnel.
