Job summary

Watkins Distributing is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver for local routes within Idaho. You will perform pre-trip inspections, deliver products safely, and verify orders at each store.

Responsibilities include unloading with pallet jack or hand truck, maintaining up-to-date paperwork, and rotating stock per company standards. Team communication with sales and store staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Delivery driver experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class-A CDL license, and medical card.
• Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
• Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.

• Communicate effectively with sales representatives and store personnel.

Job Summary:

Class A CDL Delivery Driversare responsible for local delivery activities within a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete a pre-trip vehicle inspection.

• Drive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all DOT and traffic regulations.

• Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.

• Check product in with store personnel.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20- 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level. Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

• Work independently across multiple retail locations throughout the shift.

• Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions.
