Job summary

Tyree Oil seeks a CLASS A CDL HAZMAT Driver to transport and deliver petroleum products up to 105,500 lbs. loads, covering Oregon/Washington. You will load the correct product, process tank farm paperwork, and choose the safest routes to destinations while maintaining vehicle appearance and inventory.

The role requires 3+ years of CDL Hazmat experience, DOT compliant practices, and MSHA/CPR certifications. Heavy lifting and 50+ hour weeks are typical in a safety-sensitive, high-demand

Qualifications

  • CDL Hazmat license with at least 3+ years of driving experience.
  • Proven ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the correct product and quantity is being loaded in the correct compartment of the trailer at the tank farm.
  • Process all tank farm paperwork in accordance with Company procedures and standards.
  • Utilize the shortest and safest routes to the delivery destinations.
  • Check customer tanks to verify what products are held.
  • Stick each tank and record beginning inches before delivery.
  • Complete customer invoice with correct amount of fuel delivered, price, and amount due for that delivery.
  • Maintain the appearance of the truck & trailer inside and out.
  • Maintain truck inventory items including spill pads, metal bucket, flags and correct nozzles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
