Job summary

Duck's Poultry Service is seeking a dependable Hatchery Driver (Class A CDL) to join our Transportation team. Responsibilities include safe pickup and delivery of eggs from breeder farms to hatcheries and transporting supplies back to farms.

Qualifying with a valid CDL, 2+ years driving, and ability to work nights/weekends is required. Compensation is hourly with benefits and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pick up eggs from breeder farms and deliver to hatcheries.
• Verify counts and maintain route records.
• Handle eggs carefully to maintain hatchability.
• Load and deliver farm supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
• Follow company safety, biosecurity, and DOT requirements.
• Communicate with management and hatchery personnel.
• Transport chicks from hatcheries to farms as needed.
• Assist with live hauling of pullets and spikes between farms.
• Operate a Moffett when required.
