Binford Supply LLC is seeking a motivated CDL A Truck Driver to ensure timely delivery of fencing materials and related cargo. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and strong route management for dependable service.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with pay range of $25–$26 per hour depending on experience. The driver may assist with warehouse duties on non-run days and must be able to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Three years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• One year of experience operating a flatbed truck.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Experience with strapping/securement.
• Registered with FMCSA clearinghouse.
• Knowledge of Electronic Logging requirements, GPS systems, and ability to read maps.
• Clean driving record and diligent attention to safety.
• Moffett experience required.

Responsabilités

• Follow company policies and comply with all regulations for safe operation of a CMV.
• Maintain records required by regulations including driver’s duty status and mileage records.
• Deliver to local businesses and residences, manage routes and drive safely in varying conditions.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle service logs.
• Secure cargo properly and maintain safe load securement throughout trips.
• Record and report injuries, vehicle defects, accidents, or safety issues.
• Use equipment like GPS, tablets, radios to communicate with bases and drivers.
• Assist with warehouse/yard duties when no runs are scheduled.
• Work overtime as required.

Description

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. Ensuring timely delivery of products such as fencing materials and related cargo. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and excellent route management will help us maintain our reputation for dependable service.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Range: $25-$26 an hour depending on experience

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for safe operations of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations including driver’s record of duty status, mileage records, and other records required by law.
• Travel to local areas making deliveries to businesses and residences applying knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicles at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather. This includes going forward and backing up long distances, around corners, and in and around tight areas. May travel long distances.
• Perform Pre and Post-trip inspections on vehicles and trailers to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order and maintain logs of vehicle services and repair status.
• Follow company reporting procedures for any injuries, vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Follow appropriate company safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
• Responsible for proper handling and accurate completion of all necessary paperwork related to the truck operation and freight movements.
• Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers/tablets, CB radios, phones, or global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
• Responsible for performing proper load securement of cargo and maintaining safe load securement throughout trips.
• In addition to driving responsibilities, the driver may also assist with warehouse and yard duties, on days there are no runs.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
