Roses Discount Stor is hiring a Class A CDL Dry Van Regional Driver. Average 500 miles per day at $0.57 per mile (loaded & unloaded). Primarily no-touch freight with automatic Freightliner & International trucks. Weekly home time, paid orientation & training.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old.
• CDL Class A license.

Responsibilities

• Operate dry van regional routes within a 500 mile radius of the distribution location.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Communicate with dispatch and complete required logs and mileage reporting.

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Every 2 - 3 days
• Occasional Saturday work required
• Route: Within a 500 mile radius of distribution location
• Primarily no-touch freight, with occasional driver assistance required

Equipment

• International and Freightliner
• Automatic transmission
• Governed speed: 65 mph
• ELD System: PeopleNet-equipped trucks
• Contracted mechanics onsite at DCs and road service

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL Class A license
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, with exceptions for graduates of approved local CDL training programs partnered with our company.
• Must have a clean driving record with no more than three minor moving violations or one preventable CMV accident within the past 36 months, and no disqualifying major violations.
• No alcohol or drug-related convictions in the last 7 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen & background check
