Job description

We are currently looking forClass A CDL driversat our Springville, AL, location.We are looking for drivers who care passionately about what they do, are proud to be the face of our company and who understand the importance of safety and compliance in our industry.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :

• Possess and maintain a valid Class A CDL license;
• Have a clean driving record;
• Two (2) years of related experience;
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner;
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs or more on occasion;
• Pass a drug and alcohol test and undergo a DOT physical.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Safe and legal operation of a commercial vehicle;
• Performing pre and post trip inspections;
• Delivery of drums to customer locations within an assigned route;
• Proper loading and unloading of freight (when needed) ensuring safety and minimal risk of damage;
• Development and maintenance of a professional service to our customers;
• Collecting payments from customers and record transactions when applicable;
• Organizing end-of-day paperwork for office administration;
• Maintaining a team approach through respect and communication at all levels.
