Job summary

Imperial Trading Co., LLC in Jackson, MS is seeking a Class A CDL Route Driver for local deliveries to convenience stores and nearby states. This is a full-time, non-OTR position based in Richland/Jackson area with safety-focused routes and consistent schedules.

You will perform daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate delivery procedures, and comply with DOT regulations. Must have a valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and a clean driving record; drug testing and road

• Must have an acceptable driving record based on DOT and Company insurance mandates.

Responsibilities

• Constant vigilance to detect unexpected road conditions, distracted drivers, and motorists who don’t understand how commercial vehicles operate; drive safely per FMCSA regulations.
• Conducts daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment; report defects to management.
• Responsible for accurate and efficient product delivery procedures.

Imperial Trading Co., LLC is looking for highly motivated and skilled CDL Class A Route Drivers to join our team working in Jackson, MS!Delivery drivers will be delivering to convenience stores locally and in nearby states. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A CDL & current DOT medical card.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Responsible for being constantly vigilant to detect unexpected road conditions, distracted drivers, and motorists who don’t understand how commercial vehicles operate; and commercial drivers must operate in a safe manner in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
• Conducts daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle (truck, tractor, etc.) and equipment prior to departure and upon return from route; any defects are to be reported and brought to the attention of management immediately.
• Responsible for accurate and efficient product delivery procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to climb ladders or ramps. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear and use hands to touch, handle or feel. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift 20-40 pounds and occasionally lift 50 to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
