Job summary

Builders FirstSource in El Paso, TX is seeking a professional delivery driver to transport materials to customer sites and support loading and unloading operations.

You will verify orders, maintain logs, assist customers, and ensure safety compliance while upholding BFS standards. This role requires a Class A CDL and at least one year of delivery driving experience; bilingual not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license and a class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years CDL driving experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and secure loads safely.
• Maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading spots and assist unloading materials.
• Verify orders, logs, weights, and mileage; ensure order accuracy.
• Act as customer service liaison and resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks.
• Use handheld devices to comply with DVIR and HOS requirements.
• Record pre/post trip inspections and logs; manage related paperwork.
• Operate forklift or manual handling equipment as needed.
