Job summary

Bunzl is seeking a CDL driver to safely operate Class A tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles. You will perform vehicle inspections, deliver goods to customer locations both locally and long-distance, and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.

You must maintain a clean driving record, pass background checks and drug tests, and stay current with DOT regulations and ELD compliance. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record according to fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods locally and long-distance to customer locations, on time and safely.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and ensure secure items.
• Report any vehicle issues to management promptly.
