Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for the Royse City, TX team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials and ensure compliance with DOT and environmental regulations.

This role involves operating various commercial vehicles, performing inspections, maintaining digital logs, and adhering to safety policies. You will also support loading/unloading activities and coordinate with dispatch to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Class A CDL with ability to drive manual transmission.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Willing to travel long distances with overnight stays.
• Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A vehicles, including tractor trailers, tankers, roll-offs, and box trucks.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain digital logs and comply with DOT regulations.
• Complete manifest paperwork accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch and clients to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
• Secure loads for safe transportation.
• Participate in ongoing safety training.

You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to tractor trailers, tankers, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations
• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed
• Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required
• Must be willing to work flexible hours during the week, including long-distance travel and approximately two overnight stays per week
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
• The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and responsible for taking on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
