Position Details

Class A CDL Driver

Location: Longview, WA

Type: Hourly / Full-Time

Role Summary

As a Class A CDL Driver, you will ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods, operate commercial vehicles per safety regulations, maintain logs, and interact professionally with customers, contributing to our supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Class A CDL, preferably with doubles endorsement
• Experience driving with 40-53ft trailers, maneuvering in various environments
• Ability to operate or learn to operate various trucks and trailers
• Read, write, follow instructions
• Compliance with DOT, FMCSR, and company regulations, including drug testing
• 3-year accident-free DMV record
• Availability for weekend work on a rotating basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of wood products industry
• Customer service experience in transportation/logistics

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver wood products efficiently
• Follow dispatch instructions, deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate delivery and work records
• Secure loads and perform trailer maintenance
• Operate various equipment safely
• Perform pre-trip inspections

Environmental Conditions

• Exhaust, high elevations, traffic, weather, dust, allergens

Skills

Strong driving skills, safety awareness, attention to detail, effective communication, problem-solving, familiarity with ELDs preferred.
