Job summary

Pratt Logistics in Cedar Hill, TX, is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate a tractor-trailer on assigned routes, delivering freight safely and on time. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT documentation, and communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.

Qualified candidates have a valid Class A CDL, at least 3 years CMV experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to meet DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL without airbrake restrictions.
• Three years (or 12 months/150,000 miles) verifiable CMV experience.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English clearly.
• DOT applications must be complete and accurate and include 7 year MVR.
• No major violations in the last 10 years; clean safety record.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug test.
• Must possess a valid Social Security Card.
• No felony convictions in the last 10 years; older can be considered.
• No DWI/DUI or open container convictions in the last 10 years.
• Professional appearance and conduct required.
• Successful completion of Corrugated Logistics road test.

Class A CDL Truck Driver

Corrugated Logistics assesses driver applicants on standards for performance, stability, dependability, and honesty. Regardless of experience level, all candidates must meet the following requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid Class A CDL without airbrake restrictions from the state that you declare to be your point of permanent domicile
• Three (3) years of verifiable experience operating a CMV – 12 months or 150,000 miles
• Read, write, speak, and clearly understand the English language
• DOT applications must be complete and accurate and should:
• Include (7) year MVR with application
• Reflect all periods of employment, unemployment, self employment, and education for the past 10 years. All activities in the last three (3) years must be verifiable
• Must meet or exceed the medical standard of DOT, including passing a physical exam and drug test administered by a company approved facility
• Possess a valid Social Security Card
• No reckless driving violations in the last ten (10) years
• No suspension of license in the last ten (10) years
• No moving violations in the last three (3) years – No more than one (1) moving violation in the last five (5) years – No at fault accidents within the last five (5) years – No more than two (2) moving or non-moving violations in a five (5) year period. – 1 -3 years no more than one (1) moving violation. 2 -5 years no more than 2 moving violations
• No failed or refused drug or alcohol test
• No felony convictions within the last ten (10) years from the time restitution was completed. Convictions older than ten (10) years will be considered on a case by case basis.
• No controlled substance events – No crimes against another person of ANY type
• Misdemeanors will be considered on a case by case basis
• No DWI, DUI, BAC, or Open Container convictions in the last ten (10) years
• Present a clean and professional appearance
• Successful completion of Corrugated Logistics road test
