Bunzl North America is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL driver in Fremont, CA. You will safely operate a tractor-trailer, perform inspections, and ensure on-time deliveries to customers both locally and long-distance.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety rules, maintaining logs, and coordinating loading/unloading while reporting vehicle issues promptly. Competitive pay and benefits accompany opportunities for advancement.

Competenze

• Valid Class A CDL required and clean driving record.
• Ability to comply with DOT regulations and maintain ELD compliance.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Must pass background checks, drug tests, and have an active medical card.
• Experience with GPS and routing software preferred.

3am-6am Start Time | $27/hr

A Day in the Life

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.

The Must-Haves

• Valid Class A CDL.
• A clean driving record, based on our fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of Driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.
