Class A CDL Driver Merchandiser - On Premise

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (some weekend work may be required)
Job Summary Description
The Delivery Merchandiser - On Premise is responsible for delivering and rotating stock, as well as merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Transport and unload products to retail outlets
- Merchandise all products inside the outlet to Company standards
- Partner with the Sales Supervisor to execute the company's vision, establish positive customer relationships, and provide superior customer service
- Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities
- Collaborate effectively with all functional team members
- Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays
- Communicate store-level issues to management
- Comply with DOT driving regulations
- Maintain rapport with customers
- Collect breakage, out-of-date products, empty shells, and pallets
- Accurately account for all cases and customer transactions
- Ensure proper care of products, equipment, and route settlement daily
- Deliver, rotate, and merchandise products on shelves, displays, and cold equipment
- Maintain organized backstock
- Keep coolers, racks, and shelves clean
- Assist with training, coaching, and succession planning for trainees
- Build strong relationships with customers across assigned accounts
Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years old
- Valid Driver's License and compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Class A Commercial Driver's License and compliance with fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines
- Ensure safety and security of company assets
- Utilize all company-provided resources and technology
- Maintain DOT physical requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience, or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand instructions, memos, and short correspondence
- Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions
- Basic math skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Frequent standing and walking
- Exposure to weather conditions
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision
