Job summary

Blackwood Solutions is seeking experienced Class A CDL Support Drivers to join our logistics team. The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and reliable performance with home time every other weekend and the potential for overnight travel during project peaks.

You will operate company vehicles, assist with material transport to project sites, maintain logs and compliance, and support storm response deployments while staying out for up to two weeks as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A with clean driving record.
• Ability to stay out up to 2 weeks during deployments.
• Must reside in the Mid-West area.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to support logistics, deliveries, and field operations.
• Assist with transportation of materials, equipment, and supplies to designated project sites.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and compliance documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, managers, and team members regarding route planning, delays, or operational updates.
• Support emergency or high-volume operations, including storm response deployments.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles remain in safe working condition.
• Follow all federal, state, and company safety requirements, policies, and best practices.
• Represent Blackwood Solutions with professionalism during all customer and team interactions.

Blackwood Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Support Driver to join our logistics team. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely delivery, operational readiness, and critical support for transportation needs across multiple regions. The ideal candidate is adaptable, mission-driven, and committed to maintaining exceptional service standards—especially during high-demand periods such as storm response operations and able to stay out 2 weeks at a time.
