Job summary

The DeLong Co., Inc. is seeking a reliable CDL Class A Driver to join our agricultural and logistics team in Edgerton, KS. You will be responsible for safe and timely transport of goods to customers, vendors, and job sites, while maintaining DOT logs and performing routine vehicle maintenance.

Local, regional, and over-the-road routes offer variety, with opportunities to advance endorsements and skills. A strong safety mindset and ability to work extended hours during peak seasons are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class A CDL and DOT logging/ELD experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to read maps and navigate independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A/B trucks and transport goods to and from customers and job sites.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and keep the truck clean and in peak condition.
• Tarp loads when required and handle client property with care.
• Maintain DOT logs and ELD reporting in compliance with regulations.
• Navigate to new locations using maps and routing tools.
• Assist with general labor duties during slower seasons.
• Back 20- and 40-foot trailers safely in tight spaces.
• Climb ladders up to 15 feet on trucks and fertilizer tanks as needed.
