Job summary

The DeLong Co., Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join DelCo Transport in Marengo, IL. You will safely transport goods to and from customers, vendors, and job sites, while performing routine maintenance and adhering to DOT/ELD regulations.

Qualified candidates will have a valid Class A CDL, 1+ year of experience, clean driving record, and the ability to read maps. Expect 10–12 hour days, five days a week with peak-season extended hours.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and 1+ year of CDL driving experience with DOT logging/ELD.
• Clean driving record and strong safety awareness on road and in yard.
• Ability to read maps and navigate to unfamiliar locations independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A/B trucks and navigate to locations.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and keep truck clean.
• Tarp loads when required and handle client property with care.
• Maintain DOT logs and ELD reporting in compliance with regulations.
• Back trailers safely in tight spaces and climb ladders as needed.
