Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Driver (DOT - CDL) - Class A based in Denver, CO. The role involves delivering from distribution centers to branches and customer sites, unloading at stops, and maintaining safety compliance across routes.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Possess or are in progress of obtaining a Class A CDL.
• Possess a current Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Possess HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain one (US/PR/Guam).
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for CDL drivers.
• Maintain Hours-of-Service as per DOT.
• Willingness to drive interstate routes.
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and maneuver up to 150 lbs.
• Complete required screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a handheld scanner.
• Unload product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Deliver to branches and customer sites promptly and efficiently.
• Interact with shipping/receiving departments.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and organized.
• Inspect and report defects or issues with equipment.
• Comply with DOT and Fastenal safety regulations.
• Participate in health, safety and sustainability programs.
