Job summary

Legacy Supply Chain in Ontario, CA is hiring Local Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated fleet. You will drive locally, home daily or nightly, transporting bulk commodities and performing drop & hook. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

Starting pay is Class A Driver - $28.44 per hour; Class A Driver w/ HAZMAT - $30.44 per hour. Schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 4:00pm to 12:30am.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Medical Card.
• At least 1 year of recent Class A driving experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
• Clean MVR and current MVR <30days.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements; physical and driving.
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
• Ability to physically lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete all necessary pre- and post-inspection paperwork and scale all loads in the yard.
• Ensure all shipment and billing paperwork is completed properly.
• Deliver trailers to all types of yards and place them in the customer’s location.
• Provide a yard check and trailer mileage at the time of delivery.
• Meet with customer staff and provide excellent customer service.

Job Overview

As a Class A CDL Driver you will be responsible for local driving (home every day/night) transporting bulk commodities, drop & hook. Schedule and Compensation

• Friday through Tuesday - 4:00pm to 12:30am
• Starting pay:
  • Class A Driver - $28.44 per hour

What to expect as a Local Class A CDL Driver:
