The Driving Desk is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a local intermodal role serving the Inland Empire and Southern California. You will move intermodal containers between rail yards, distribution centers, and customer locations with daily home time and no-touch freight.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience.
Ability to pass DOT drug screening, background check, and MVR review.
Comfortable operating in rail-yard and intermodal environments.
Must live within the approved hiring area.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle.
Transport loaded and empty intermodal containers.
Pick up and deliver containers between rail ramps, customer facilities, and distribution centers.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Inspect chassis, containers, tires, lights, and securement equipment.
Complete electronic logs and DOT paperwork.
Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.
Follow all rail-yard and terminal safety procedures.

Average Weekly Earnings: $1,500–$1,600+
Average Annual Earnings: Approximately $87,000
Day Shift Pay: $17.60/hour
Night Shift Pay: $20.06/hour
Weekend Pay: $23.76/hour
Mileage Pay: $0.22 CPM
Weekly direct deposit

Additional activity-based compensation may be available depending on assignments.
