Job summary

Summertown Metals in Morristown, TN is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Driver to safely transport materials to job sites and support our field operations. You will work with dispatch, handle load security, complete required paperwork, and maintain accurate on-site records while upholding DOT safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Proven experience as a CDL driver.
• Experience operating a Moffett forklift is a plus (training provided).
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver materials to job sites.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers; manage paperwork and payments.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Use ELD and log on-duty time accurately.
• Maintain loads securely and report delays to dispatch.
