Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) seeks a Class A Driver for Kauai, Hawaii. This role delivers food products to restaurant customers on local routes, with early morning shifts and weekends/holidays in a 24/7 operation.

You’ll need a CDL, DOT medical card, and 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience, plus the ability to lift heavy loads and complete DOT logs. Earn $33.00 per hour with potential incentive pay and a Mainland relocation bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.
• At least 1 year tractor–trailer driving and delivery experience.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in coolers/freezers
• Strong customer service and clear communication with dispatch and store teams
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections and maintain DOT logs as required by DOT regulations

Responsibilities

• Operate a diesel tractor-trailer on local Kauai routes with no layovers

• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks (touch freight)

Class A Driver – Kauai

In This Role, You’ll

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor‑trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks - this is a touch‑freight role
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance

What You’ll Bring

• A valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and at least 1 year of tractor‑trailer driving and delivery experience
• Ability to lift 5–75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi‑temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations

The Schedule & Setting

• Monday - Friday 2:30am - 1pm
• Must be available forearly mornings, weekends, and holidays
• All trailers equipped withlift gates - no ramps
• Touch freight - with repetitive lifting 75+ lbs

Pay & Benefits

• Pay: $33.00/hr
  • Incentive pay can add an extra $5 more per hour
