CLASS A / CDL DRIVER INSTRUCTOR - IMMEDIATE OPENING

Position Summary: MTS Training Academy, Inc. is seeking a Class A Trainer/Instructor. Our instructors play a vital role in preparing students to pass DMV written and Behind-The-Wheel DMV tests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Effective and Efficient Instruction: Deliver comprehensive instruction for Class A, Class B Behind-The-Wheel courses, ensuring students are prepared for DMV tests and final drive tests.
2. Student Success: Equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pass both the written and practical components of their licensing exams.
3. Case Management: Monitor training progress and results, submit weekly student progress reports into the CRM, verify attendance, intervene in crises, and provide support as needed. Maintain student records and communicate progress through meetings and evaluations.
4. Curriculum Development: Adapt established curriculum and training materials to meet diverse learning needs.
5. Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate progress and provide feedback.
6. Safety and Compliance: Ensure training adheres to safety standards and regulations.
7. Classroom Management: Maintain an organized, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
8. Student Retention and Progress: Monitor retention rates and track progress, emphasizing post-training activities and job placement.
9. Digital Literacy and Tools: Proficiency with computers, tablets, LMS platforms, online communication tools, presentation software, simulators, and data analysis tools.
10. Additional Duties: Obtain a commercial driver's license, drive school transportation, and teach courses as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL license with Air Brake endorsement for Class A
