Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of recent tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to meet DOT medical requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all DOT, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Deliver finished products to customers and transport raw materials from vendors.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route vehicle inspections.
• Complete required inspection reports, logs, and transportation documentation.
• Load and unload freight using mechanical equipment as needed.
• Hook and unhook trailers and perform trailer swaps.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and fueling checks.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and paperwork for compliance.
• Communicate schedules and delivery requirements with customers and dispatch.
