Job summary

United Rentals in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely and on time. You will be home every night and build strong relationships with clients while representing the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

You’ll handle equipment drop-offs/pickups, logs, safety inspections, and daily communications with customers, ensuring high service levels and adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate construction equipment and safely manage DOT requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Drops off and picks up equipment for customers.
• Operates semi-trucks and trailers in compliance with regulations.
• Maintains driver logs and completes pre-trip inspections.
• Provides excellent customer service and acts as company ambassador.
• Adheres to safety rules and contributes to a safe work environment.
