Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. is seeking CDL-A truck drivers to join our team in the United States. You will deliver freight with flatbed and curtain side trailers, and enjoy home time every night and on weekends on the first shift with new, safe equipment.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum 21 years of age.
12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
Safe Driving Record.
Ability to secure loads.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
Direct the unloading by customers, when required
