Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a professional truck driver to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes. The role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and customer interaction as the driver serves as the public face of the company.

You will perform pre/post trip safety checks, adhere to DOT regulations, and ensure secure loading and delivery. The position requires lifting freight and maintaining logs, with Home Daily shifts and early dispatch times as noted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years tractor-trailer commercial driving experience.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move freight of varying size and weight.

Responsibilities

• Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip) including inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Reports safety hazards and inspects trailer for proper loading and secured freight.
• Maintains accurate paperwork and freight counts.
• Drives to deliver orders according to route schedule and unloads at customer locations.
• Ensures proper signatures and, when required, collects payment.
