Job summary

The Driver Class B role at Core-Mark involves safely operating a straight truck or tractor-trailer to deliver food and related products to customers, with home daily routes and no overnights. You will perform DOT-compliant inspections, verify invoices, and maintain logs while representing the company professionally at all times.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid CDL Class B, and at least 6 months of box truck experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid CDL Class B license.
• 6+ months box truck driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Meet all state licensing requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for the past three years.
• Pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal background check.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck or tractor-trailer to deliver food and related products.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections per DOT regulations.
• Verify product counts and customer invoices before departure.
• Deliver customer orders according to routes and schedules.
• Maintain Hours of Service logs and DOT-required records.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
