Job summary

North American Rail Solutions is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Driver to transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites. The role requires pre-trip/post-trip inspections and strict load securement in line with DOT regulations.

You will operate flatbed/low-boy trailers, maintain duty-status records, and comply with all safety policies while meeting daily/weekly goals. Independence and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver's license and medical card required.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug test.
• Minimum 3 years of proven Class A driving experience.
• Ability to operate manual transmission (13 speed).
• Knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Secure and transport heavy equipment/materials per regulations.
• Load/unload with proper tie-downs for safe transport.
• Drive up to 11 hours with a maximum 14 hours per DOT rules.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and document accordingly.
• Maintain driver’s records and comply with safety policies.
• Report safety issues and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
