Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll-offs. You will perform driving and non-driving duties on and off-site related to hazardous waste cleanup.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required to operate commercial trucks on-site and off-site.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements should be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use mobile devices for logs, reporting and communications.
• Completion of background check, drug screening, and physical exam as applicable.
• Compliance with OSHA respiratory protection and related safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of Class A trucks at customer sites and perform loading/unloading.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports; ensure safety and compliance with DOT rules.
• Proceed with site remediation work, decontamination and handling of hazardous materials as required.
• Adhere to safety policies and communicate effectively within a team.
