Job summary

RK Logistics Group, Inc. is seeking a Class A Driver to perform scheduled pickup and delivery operations on assigned routes. A valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement, a clean DMV record, medical card, and 2–3 years of hazmat transportation experience are required.

Forklift experience is a strong plus, as is knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures. The role includes vehicle inspections, accurate logs, route planning support, and flexible duty coverage in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement, clean driving record, and medical card.
• 2-3 years of experience transporting hazardous materials/waste.
• Strong math, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle inspections, fueling, and cargo securement per DOT rules.
• Maintain driver logs and delivery documentation accurately.
• Execute delivery routes and assist with additional pickups/deliveries as needed.
• Support route coverage in absence of other drivers and help with loadouts.
• Communicate delays, safety concerns, or vehicle issues promptly to supervisor.
• Keep vehicle and terminal area clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Demonstrate urgency and commitment to customer service.
