Clean Harbors in San Jose, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll offs. You will perform driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste clean-up at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to operate various mobile devices.
• Ability to perform physical functions as required by the role.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and medical examination per position.
• OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard facial hair requirements may apply for respirator positions.

Responsabilités

• Health and Safety is the top priority by following all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed in a team environment.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs.
• Properly placard vehicles to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Follow local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company requirements.
• Follow all corporate operating guidelines and EH&S policies.
• Comply with all environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Engage in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.
