Job summary

Convoy of Hope seeks dependable flex drivers to transport products by tractor-trailer, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations. The role requires a Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.

Drivers may work varied shifts and assist with warehouse tasks as needed. Applicants should have at least 2 years of full-time driving experience, a DOT medical card, and knowledge of load securing, weight distribution, and basic truck maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current Missouri Class A Commercial Driver’s License and experience driving Class 8 tractors is required.
• Current DOT physical card and knowledge of DOT regulations required.
• Must pass background check and be at least 25 years old with 2+ years of full-time driving experience.
• Ability to properly secure loads and understand truck maintenance and pre-trip responsibilities.
• Must be able to drive varying shifts and comply with Hours of Service regulations.
• Knowledge of weight distribution, axle loading, and trailer weight shifting; ability to use GPS and trucking atlas for routes.

Responsibilities

• Transport Convoy of Hope products by truck.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with Hours of Service.
• Secure loads properly and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Operate forklift or other warehouse equipment if required.
• Coordinate with logistics and ministry teams to support events and operations.
