GEODIS is hiring a Class A CDL Driver in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. The role involves operating a commercial vehicle, delivering goods on schedule, and maintaining vehicle and delivery records. You will perform pre-trip inspections and communicate with dispatch while upholding GEODIS safety policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of Class A CDL driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a Class A CDL vehicle in compliance with FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods per schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle inspection records.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Report incidents or delays promptly.

Primary Duties

• Operate and drive a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all FMCSA and DOT
  regulations.
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods according to delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, hours of service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
• Adhere to GEODIS policies and procedures, including safety protocols and reporting
  requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or delays promptly to the appropriate parties.

  and Sustainability

Minimum Requirements

• 49 CFR 391
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL Driver.
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Must have successfully completed a driver’s road test and have been issued a certificate of driver’s road test or possess a valid commercial driver’s license.
• Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must have a valid operator’s license for the type of vehicle which they are assigned to drive.
• Must be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with 49 CFR Part
  391.41
