Class A Commercial Driver – Construction and Industrial Supplies

SouthernCarlson, a national leader in fastening, industrial, and packaging supply distribution, is looking for a Class A Delivery Driver to join our Sacramento branch. If you're an experienced, safety-conscious driver with a passion for exceptional service and teamwork, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance

Safely load, transport, and unload merchandise to customer sites

Plan efficient delivery routes, adjusting for traffic or construction as needed

Accurately pull and verify orders to match delivery manifests

Provide timely, courteous service while resolving delivery-related issues in coordination with dispatch and customers

Maintain accurate delivery records and follow all company procedures

What You Bring

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
– Authorized to operate vehicles over 26,000 lbs with no restrictions

Experience with flatbed, air brake systems, and manual transmission

Clean DMV record and ability to pass a DOT-compliant background check and drug screening

Physical ability to lift 75–100 pounds

Forklift experience preferred

Professional appearance and conduct consistent with the construction industry

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety, timeliness, and customer satisfaction
