Job summary
APAC-Kansas, Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher in Hays, KS to read plans, form, pour, and finish concrete on diverse construction projects. The candidate will join a safety-focused team working on roadway and paving work across multiple sites.
The role requires experience reading construction plans and performing concrete finishing with precision. Willingness to travel to remote job sites and work nights/weekends as needed is a plus, with competitive base pay and benefits offered.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated experience reading plans and independently forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for construction projects.
- Previous related experience in the construction field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret project plans and specifications to perform concrete work with precision.
- Independently form, pour, and finish concrete to grade with a fine finish on all types of concrete work.
- Follow safety policies and procedures and use PPE as required.
- Ensure safe work environment by complying with OSHA/MSHA regulations.
