SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Primary purpose is to deliver product loaded and secured by the warehouse in a safe and courteous manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the function of the Driver, may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job description.

• Perform safety-affecting activities on a motor vehicle used in transportation on public highways in interstate commerce.
• Maintain vigilance to detect unexpected road conditions, distracted drivers, and motorists unfamiliar with commercial vehicles; operate safely according to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
• Make interstate journeys as required during employment.
• Maintain a valid CDL and Medical Card.
• Report to work on time and complete all duties promptly.
• Wear proper uniforms and PPE, including steel-toe safety shoes.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects immediately.
• Comply with all DOT rules, including logging hours on the PeopleNet ELD.
• Use company’s P.O.D. scanner for accurate delivery documentation; unload products safely.
• Accurately handle delivery paperwork and secure payments according to company policy.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment, monitored by Drive-Cam; maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment.
• Take overnight routes when necessary.
• Provide courteous customer service to uphold company reputation.
• Perform duties cooperatively and communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Physical Demands: Strenuous physical activity, including climbing, lifting 20-75 pounds, and operating in various weather conditions.

Work Environment: Frequent exposure to wet, humid, freezing, and outdoor conditions; moderate noise level.
