Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a full-time Driver to transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and a clean MVR.

You will perform routes in a safe, efficient manner, maintain records, and adhere to DOT regulations. Site address is Morrison, TN. Full-time with day shift, Monday through Friday, benefits start day 1.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• 2 years of tractor–trailer experience including winter driving.
• Valid Medical Card.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Ability to work with people in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to safety and precision to prevent injury.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist in unloading using a Moffett to customer locations or returns.
• Deliver material in route/fleet drops per Federal regulations.
• Operate vehicle with awareness of traffic, weather, and loading dock constraints.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel, mileage, and required records.
• Comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for CMV operation.
• Answer questions about packing lists, invoices, and content; direct to the right contact when needed.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle/equipment.
• Report any repairs or maintenance promptly.
• Comply with DOT guidelines.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
