Job summary

SouthernCarlson is hiring a Class A Commercial Driver to support customers across the construction and industrial sectors. The role emphasizes safe driving, reliable service, and independent work on day shift with Monday–Friday hours.

Responsibilities include inspections, loading/unloading, route planning, order verification, and clear communication with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries. A clean DMV record and DOT screening are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no restrictions.
• Experience operating vehicles over 26,000 lbs.
• Clean DMV record and able to pass DOT background and drug screening.
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs as part of delivery responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no restrictions
• Experience operating vehicles over 26,000 lbs
• Experience with flatbed trucks, air brake systems, and manual transmissions
• Clean DMV record and ability to pass DOT background and drug screening
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs as part of delivery responsibilities
• Forklift experience preferred
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
• Detail-oriented with strong commitment to safety and reliability
