Job Details:
- This position is Full-time on the road, driving 3 - 4 days a week.
- Total hours could be between 32 - 40 hours a week.
Driving will include, but not be limited to:
- Following all safety regulations & promoting safe practices.
- Staggered hours. On days that pickups are needed, the driver could start as early as 3 - 4 a.m.
- Keep up with the electronic driving log.
- Keep up with routine maintenance on the truck. Set up an appointment to have the truck serviced, scheduled maintenance, etc.
- Gather all mileage needed for the state department and quarterly/annual numbers.
- Will have occasional local pick-ups/drop-offs.
- Reporting any faulty equipment or anything that is wearing out that needs to be replaced (straps, tires, load bars, etc.)
Work Experience:
- Experience driving a 53 ft. trailer.
- Knowledge of DOT / FMCSA load securement guidelines
- Securing loose material on a flat-bed trailer.
- Clean driving record (State of OH).
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Class A CDL License.
Contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug screen test, including marijuana testing.
