Qualifications

• 18 months of driving experience within the last 36 months.
• Experience with electronic equipment and software.
• No major driving violations in the last year.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods to and from plants and centers.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance.
• Ensure delivery schedules are met.

Job description

Since 1967, Tucker Door & Trim has been a well-respected wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and specialty millwork for the construction industry.

Tucker Door & Trim boasts an ever-growing fleet of tractor-trailers making regular deliveries to wholesale customers throughout the Southeastern United States, including Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and DC

We have immediate openings for Class A CDL drivers and want you to join our team of drivers who have lifelong careers with us.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, and safety issues, perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections

• Ensure that delivery schedules are deliveredas scheduled

• Retain all necessary documents for each trip

• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods)

• Ensure compliance with Tucker Door and Trim safety and company policies

• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

• Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations

Skills

• 18 months of proven truck driving experience within the last 36 months

• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software

• No major moving or driving violations within the last year

• 18 months of class A commercial driving experience
