Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

• THIS POSITION IS ONSITE AT OUR CUSTOMER LOCATION IN AUGUSTA, KY.

What you’ll be doing:

• Transporting trailers, vans, and other equipment to customers via tractor.
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip equipment, tractor, trailer inspection to identify any operational issues.
• Maintaining and servicing vehicle as needed (fuel, tire pressure, clean windshields, etc.).
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.
• Track and record working hours as required by law.
• Follow directions via technology (GPS, maps, etc.).
• Record movement of equipment by date, time, location, etc. for accurate record keeping.
• Be aware of weather and road conditions when operating vehicle.
• Accurately report work performed on shop work orders.

Skills we are looking for:

• Skilled at parking large, heavy equipment.
• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented.
• Physically & mentally fit.
• Excellent communication skills with dispatch, supervision, and customers.
• Ability to climb in and out of truck cabs, inspect equipment by bending, stooping, and walking around.
• Sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
• Inspect equipment for safe operation.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Qualifications to be successful:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL.
• 2+ years proven experience in commercial truck driving.
• Clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
