Job Overview

L. J. Quigliano II Inc. is hiring a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to support our growing operations across the Buffalo Niagara region. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting heavy machinery and construction materials safely and efficiently using lowboy trailers and dump trucks. This is a vital position requiring expert hauling knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, civil construction environment.

Based in Sanborn, NY, we specialize in residential, commercial, and industrial site work, including sewer and water mains, paving, storm systems, and dirt work. Our success is rooted in our experienced team, state-of-the-art equipment (including GPS automation), and commitment to delivering high-quality results at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate lowboy trailers to load, transport, and unload heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, dozers).
• Haul and dump materials such as rock, dirt, and gravel using dump trucks.
• Secure loads correctly using chains, binders, and other approved methods per DOT standards.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any issues promptly.
• Communicate and coordinate with site supervisors to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient logistics.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Follow all safety protocols on job sites and during transportation, including traffic control awareness.
• Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of trucks and trailers.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years' experience hauling with lowboys and dump trucks in construction or equipment transport.
• Strong understanding of load securement, DOT compliance, and road safety standards.
• Ability to chain down, climb equipment, and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent time management, communication, and reliability.
• Must pass random drug tests and DOT physicals.
