Position Overview
Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is looking for a safety-focused CDL Driver / Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Be Doing
- As a Class A driver, you will organize the pick-up and delivery schedule of all of your clients. (Training will be provided by SES)
- Interact with clients in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure safety is the first priority by complying with all safe work practices, rules, regulations, and safety policies as set forth by the company and the customer.
- Drive and operate all CDL required equipment in a safe and professional manner, including Roll-Off Trucks, Flat Bed Trucks, and Service Trucks; perform Pre/Post Trip inspections on units.
- Document all Company, Federal, State, and Customer documentation/paperwork as required by law and/or established policy in a clear and legible manner.
- Effectively and professionally communicate with an on-site customer representative.
- Lead and direct subordinate personnel to perform duties in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot equipment and, as needed, perform minor repairs.
- Maintain equipment and company property in proper condition.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum age 21 years.
- Valid Class “A” CDL license with a Tanker Endorsement (N) or a combination of Tanker and Hazardous (X) endorsement, air brakes, and a current DOT medical certificate.
- Experience driving a manual 10‑speed transmission or higher preferred.
- Maintain insurability under the company’s insurance plan.
- Comprehend and understand the English language to a level that all safety instructions and emergency situations are complied with.
- Pass pre‑employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and/or post‑accident/injury substance‑abuse screening and background check.
- Perform essential physical functions of the job: distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty; work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dust, and wet conditions for extended periods; wear protective clothing such as safety glasses, steel‑toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection.
